Weekend Picks for the Summer

You can't beat summer in Minnesota, with fun festivals and fairs nearly every weekend.

Mike Marcotte from TCL stopped by KSTP to talk about some of the favorite "weekend picks" and tips.

This is a big weekend if you are an art lover.

The Edina Art Fair will be held Friday though Sunday. There will be 300 artists there with all types of art including, ceramics, jewelry, glass, photography, wood carvings, wearables and sculptures. 

Parking is at Southdale where you can take the free shuttle. The buses will be on the northeast side by Firestone.

Rhubarb Days takes places on Friday and Saturday in Osceoloa, Wisconsin. The event includes rhubarb wine tasting, a bake off, a musical revue about rhubarb; there is also a free outdoor movie Friday night as well as a 5K run/walk on Saturday.
