Canterbury Park opens its live horse racing season on Friday.
Post time is 6:30 p.m. Racing continues Saturday and Sunday with a new post time of 12:45 p.m.
The racing season is the 20th since the Shakopee track reopened in 1995.
Friday's eight-race program features the 10,000 Lakes Stakes, a $60,000 six-furlong sprint restricted to horses bred in Minnesota.
Canterbury also will offer a simulcast of the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, on Saturday.
General admission is $6, with an additional charge for indoor, reserved seating. Children 17 and younger are admitted free.
The 69-day race meet runs through Sept. 13.
For the first time since 1991 all the horse stalls are at capacity.
