Many of us want to add curb appeal to our home, and one of the best items to spruce up is your front door.
Angie Hicks, founder of Angie's List, says your front door is the first thing that people see. Replacing your door not only can add curb appeal, but in some cases, can cut down on your heating and cooling costs.
A standard fiberglass door can cost about $1,000, and a decorative glass door can cost as much as $5,000.
If you already have a sturdy door in place, consider a new coat of paint to make your door pop.
