In this week's edition of At Issue, host Tom Hauser takes an in-depth look at the local political issues that affect you.

This week two very different approaches to the medical marijuana issue made progress in the the House and Senate. The house bill allows for pill, oil or vapor form marijuana in observational trials only. The Senate's version allows for pill or vapor forms used by adults with serious illnesses or kids who suffer from seizures.

The House, Senate and Governor all released bonding bill proposals this week that would determine where millions of dollars would be spent in building projects.

An agreement between the House and Senate on Tax Bill Two will provide another $103 million in cuts for homeowners, renters, farmers and businesses, and it will impact 1 million people.

The author of the Senate liquor bill has pulled legislation after some lawmakers amended it to include the sale of "growlers." A House bill allowing Hennepin county bars to stay open until 4 a.m. for the All Star Game and for alcohol sales at University of Minnesota football games passed this week, but it doesn't allow for Sunday liquor sales.

The city of Minneapolis submitted its final bid to host the 2018 Super Bowl. New Orleans and Indianapolis are the other two finalists.

Family, friends and fellow lawmakers said goodbye to Minnesota's longest-serving congressman, Jim Oberstar, at a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday in Maryland.

In Political Analysis, Darin Broton , a DFL strategist, and Ben Golnik, a Republican strategist, talked about Oberstar's legacy in Minnesota and the changing 8th Congressional District, along with progress so far this legislative session.
