A Minnesota-based manufacturer is recalling nearly 16,000 fireplaces and fireplace inserts it sold throughout the U.S. and Canada due to the product releasing gas early and causing explosions.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said the explosions have happened in at least nine instances and at least two injuries have been reported.

Hussong Manufacturing, of the southern Minnesota town of Lakefield, is recalling the 22 different Kozy Heat, Ambiance and Big Woods Hearth products using an American Flame main control module.

For the full list from the CPSC, look here.

The products were sold from October 2009 and April 2013, retailing between $1,450 and $3,325, the CPSC said.

Those with the models in their home are urged to stop using the product and contact the dealer where the fireplace was purchased from.
