Watch your bank account. Service fees from banks are on the rise once again.

The Wall Street Journal reports that nearly four years after regulators tried to lower overdraft fees, banks are hiking them back up.

The median fee for an overdraft is now $30, which is up from $29 in 2012 and $26 in 2009.

KSTP checked around at some of the more popular banks in the Twin Cities for their overdraft fees.

Wells Fargo's is $35, U.S. Bank's fee is $36 and at TCF Bank it's $37.
