Fans at Target Field will be able to try new food options this season including BBQ rib tips and a twist on the classic Iron Range porketta.

Sue Moores with Roots for the Home Team joined Megan Newquist in the Twin Cities Live kitchen Tuesday morning with a sneak peek at a healthy, homegrown option at Twins games this summer.

Roots for the Home Team buys fresh vegetables and ingredients locally from kids who grow them throughout the season. The kids also help to create concepts for the Target Field offerings.

New this year are a Cajun salad and a pizza salad.
