Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office was quite busy this week.

Sheriff Todd Dahl reported deputies arrested 11 different individuals for various crimes throughout the county.

In one incident on Tuesday around 7:45 p.m., authorities received a call of a suspicious individual who was walking around some cabins on Hideaway Lane in Emily. Crosslake Police officers saw a vehicle leaving the area.

An investigation showed both the driver and passenger were found to have active arrest warrants, Dahl said.

Deputies also located a large amount of property, including three firearms, in the vehicle that was later identified as stolen from a cabin in Cass County, which had just recently been burglarized.

A day later on Wednesday, authorities arrested two people in connection to stealing aluminum from the Brainerd High School farm.

Also on Wednesday, authorities took seven people into custody after the Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division executed a search warrant at a residence in Brainerd located on the 1500 block of 8th Ave., NE.

The search warrant was in connection with an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of meth within the Crow Wing County area. Methamphetamine and firearms were recovered. The Crow Wing County TAC Team and the Brainerd Police Department assisted in the arrest.
