In this week's edition of At Issue, host Tom Hauser takes an in-depth look at the local political issues that affect you.

This week, the state Senate passed a new tax bill that would lessen the burden on many Minnesotans. The governor urged the House and Senate to pass the bill this week so that the Department of Revenue would have enough time to update the software so Minnesotans can claim new tax breaks this year.

Gov. Mark Dayton made his first appearances at the Capitol this session a week earlier than expected after having hip surgery a month ago. Dayton said his recovery is going well.

In Political Analysis, former DFL state Sen. Don Betzold and Republican strategist Brian McDaniel joined host Tom Hauser to discuss a state representative's tweet that gained national attention for having racial undertones.
