An arrest has been made in connection to recent multiple robberies in the Alexandria area, according to police.
Alexandria police say Michael Warren, 27, of Alexandria was arrested after an intense investigation and when they had probable cause to believe he was involved in the robberies. Details of his arrest were not released from police.
The arrest comes after a rash of armed robberies since late last month.
The suspect in the robberies is described as a man in his 20s, about 5-feet, 9-inches tall. The suspect displayed a handgun, demanded cash and then tied workers up.
Police say they will not be releasing any more details on Warren’s arrest since the investigation is ongoing.
