The Minnesota Twins will honor longtime sports reporter Sid Hartman with a special pregame ceremony at Target Field on Sunday, May 18.
Fans will be able to purchase special tickets in the Field Box and Home Plate Terrace sections, and the Twins will give away Sid Hartman bobbleheads and ceramic coffee mugs with notable Hartman quotes.
"The Twins are proud to honor Sid's many contributions to the Minnesota sports scene during his long and illustrious career," said Dave St. Peter, Twins President. "Sid is definitely one-of-a-kind and the team and our fans look forward to paying tribute on May 18."
Hartman will take part in a live broadcast on Target Plaza from 9:30 a.m. to noon to answer questions and talk with special guests. The game against the Seattle Mariners starts at 1:10 p.m.
