Fire chiefs from across the region will be in Minneapolis on Friday to raise awareness of fire prevention.
There have been 10 fire fatalities so far this year in Minneapolis, including one that killed five children. On Friday, the fire chiefs will talk about what we can all do to prevent fires in homes and businesses.
Fire chiefs from Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, Richfield, Eden Prairie and Eagan are expected to be in attendance.
The event takes place at 2 p.m. Friday at Fire Station 6 in Minneapolis.
