The Minnesota Wild were active in the 24-hours leading up to the NHL trade deadline, making a second deal bringing three-time 30-goal scorer Matt Moulson to St. Paul from Buffalo.
A day after acquiring goalie Ilya Bryzgalov from Edmonton, the Wild are shipping Torrey Mitchell and second-round draft picks in 2014 and 2016 to the Sabres in exchange for Moulson and enforcer Cody McCormick.
Moulson, 30, joined the Sabres earlier this season, traded from the New York Islanders in exchange for Thomas Vanek.
He has 17 goals and 21 assists in his 55 games with Buffalo and the Islanders this season.
Moulson is in the last year of a 3-year, $9.4-million deal and will become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
