The Minnesota Wild made four roster moves Wednesday, placing defenseman Marco Scandella and forward Jason Zucker on the Injured Reserve while recalling goaltender John Curry and forward Stephane Veilleux from the Iowa Wild. The moves come a day before the team's first game back from the Olympics break against the Edmonton Oilers.

Scandella has a sprained knee while Zucker has a lower-body injury, the team said.

Curry is 7-5-2 in 15 games with the American Hockey League's Iowa Wild. The Shorewood, Minn.-native has a 2.08 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage this season.

Veilleux has scored one goal in 25 games this season for the Minnesota Wild. He has four goals and seven assists with the Iowa Wild.

The Minnesota Wild (31-21-7) return to action Thursday night in Edmonton. The Wild sit sixth in the Western Conference standings with 69 points. Edmonton has the Western Conference's worst record at 20-33-7.
