Hundreds of people and delegates packed a DFL caucus in Minneapolis Wednesday, which was rescheduled after being broken up by arguments and shoving earlier this month.

Interest was so high it moved from the Brian Coyle Community Center to the University of Minnesota campus.

The only business of the caucus was to elect convention delegates and alternates.

The caucus was ended by organizers early after it got nasty with some pushing and shoving. Police even showed up to break up the disagreements.

Wednesday night’s rescheduled event brought out people just to observe.

People picked delegates peacefully. They were choosing between incumbent State Representative Phyllis Kahn and new Minneapolis School Board Member Mohamud Noor.
