Schammel was hardly alone as linemates Emily Stegora and Reagan Haley each scored twice, giving the Wingers top line all seven of the team's goals.

Red Wing took a 5-0 lead into the second period before New Ulm's Brittany Denn snapped the shutout.  Denn scored again in the third to close out the scoring.

Wingers goalie Ashley Corcoran made 12 saves to earn the win.

Red Wing advances to Friday's semifinal where they get a rematch of last year's semifinal  against Blake - who went on to win the Class A title.
