Minnesota restaurant owners weighed in Tuesday on the minimum wage debate.

They gave lawmakers a behind-the-scenes tour at Murray's Steakhouse in downtown Minneapolis.

The Minnesota Restaurant Association says it supports putting the minimum for restaurant workers at $7.25 an hour, which is where the federal minimum wage sits now.

But it it goes any higher, one owner says he may not be able to grow his business.

The association says it does not support linking the minimum wage to inflation. However, it does support a special tier for tipped employees and creating a youth wage for workers younger than 18-years-old.
