There's been a lot of buzz recently about a huge drop off in the bee population. On Wednesday, protesters took new steps to try and save the bees.

The group delivered valentines to the Home Depot in Northeast Minneapolis. They want the stores to stop selling pesticides that are harmful to bees, along with plants treated with them.

A study by Friends of the Earth and the Pesticide Research Institute last summer tested garden plants available at big box retailers. They found seven out of 13 plants purchased contained pesticides that could harm or kill bees.

Home Depot says it will talk to the groups about their findings.
