Our bitter cold weather is actually an economic boom in Northern Wisconsin.
Thousands of people are flocking to see the ice caves at the Apostle Islands. This is the first year, in five years, that people can now get to them because Lake Superior is frozen.
The crowds are coming from near and as far away as Japan, China and Australia.
Inns and stores in nearby cities like Bayfield and Cornucopia normally close during the winter months. This year, many are staying open.
