Minnesotans said goodbye to Joan Mondale at a memorial service Saturday inside Westminster Presbyterian church in Minneapolis.
The former second lady died Monday after an extended illness. She was 83. Former Vice President Walter Mondale was in attendance.
Former President Jimmy Carter was also present, along with current Vice President Joe Biden.
The church was packed, plenty of people spoke and one thing that was made crystal clear -- is that this is a woman who made the most of her 83 years.
