Besse Leads Badgers to a Sweep of Gophers

Former Benilde-St. Margaret's star Grant Besse scored a goal for the Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team as they beat the Minnesota Golden Gophers 2-1 Friday night in Madison.

Besse also had an assist on Nic Kerdiles game-winning goal 4-minutes and 33-seconds into the 3rd period.

Seth Ambroz scored the Gophers only goal, which tied the game at 1-1 in the second period.

It's the first time the Badgers have swept the Gophers in Madison since the 1999-2000 season.
