A county in southeastern Minnesota may ban what's become a big industry in the state.
Houston County commissioners have already extended a moratorium on new frack sand mining through March 2015.
Now, the commissioners are asking the state how to go about a permanent ban.
Some people in Houston County are concerned with heavy truck traffic and the environmental impact.
County leaders also worry they don't have enough money to pay for road repairs if the trucks cause damage.
