TCF Bank Stadium will play host to two big outdoor hockey games this week.
However, no one wants to sit in bleacher seats filled with snow, so the call for help went out and Minnesotans responded in a big way.
A crew of more than 100 people shoveled the snow out of the stands Wednesday.
They started at the top and threw the snow by hand onto chutes. The snow then slides down to the bottom onto the playing field.
Tractors and other heavy equipment wait for it to pile it up so they can load it into a dump truck where it's hauled to a dump site in St. Paul.
On Tuesday, workers did the upper deck and on Wednesday they focused on the lower part of the stadium. With Wednesday's snow the workers may not be done with the job.
Those who helped earned a little more than $10 an hour.
