Tuesday morning's snowfall did not appear to have much of an impact on the evening commute.

The majority of snow fell in the east Metro. Stillwater reported receiving 6 inches of snow, Forest Lake received 4.5 inches and Anoka got 4 inches. The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport officially received 3 inches. Drivers had to deal with a slow-moving morning commute.

Cold air is moving into the state. Temperatures are expected to hover around 0 degrees by midnight.

A high of 18 is expected on Wednesday with another Arctic blast arriving Thursday and lasting through Friday.
