A Target store in West St. Paul was put on lockdown as police searched for an armed robbery suspect Thursday night.
The store was locked down for about 20 minutes.
Officers were called to the Target store around 6 p.m. on a report that a man approached the pharmacy, showed a handgun and demanded prescription drugs, according to police.
The suspect left the pharmacy and police conducted a search and locked down the store because it was unknown if the suspect left the store. Police didn't find the suspect.
Police are working with Target’s Corporate Security to identify the suspect.
A description of the suspect was very limited.
No further details were released.
