Weekend Threatre in the Twin Cities

There are still plenty of theatrical shows to check out in the post-holiday season, including a show for kids in Excelsior.

A Year With Frog and Toad is a story about an unlikely friendship between an optimistic frog and a grumpy toad.

It runs through Sunday, Dec. 29, at The Old Log Theater and is good for kids of all ages.

You probably know the classic songs "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off" and “Our Love is Here to Stay", but what about the man who wrote them?

You can get in on a night of singing and a mini history lesson with Words by Ira Gershwin and the Great American Songbook.

The Park Square Theatre is hosting the event through Sunday in St. Paul.
