Scattered flurries around the Metro are expected to last throughout Wednesday afternoon and evening in the metro, according to KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan.
Roads were slick Wednesday morning. The flurries, in addition to snow earlier in the day and overnight, combined with the warmer temperatures has roads sloppy and slippery.
Roads improved throughout the day.
Several spin outs were throughout the morning and afternoon.
Temps hit the 20s, but will be back in the single digits overnight. The warmer weather should last through the rest of the week, with highs of 20 on Thursday, 29 on Friday and 32 on Saturday.
The Arctic air will return Sunday with temps in the single digits and wind chill values around 20 below.
Light snowfall lasted throughout Wednesday morning, with accumulations up to 1", Ryan said.
