Afton Alps offered a first look Friday at a $10 million improvement project at the ski area.
The 50th anniversary renovation has been a year-long process, and they now have new snow-making equipment to help them stay open longer.
A new lift ticket scanning system will eliminate paper tickets, and there’s even an outside “Landing Zone” for skiers and snowboarders to hang out.
Major upgrades were done to the terrain park by the same designers who work on courses for the Winter X Games.
