Fond du Lac Tribal Police are looking for help in locating a man who has been missing for more than two weeks.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released an alert Wednesday reporting that 22-year-old Michial Annamitta Jr. has not been heard from since Nov. 23. He has not been in contact with his family, which is unusual, police reported.

Annamitta was staying at a home in Sawyer, Minn. Police say he may have been headed to Minneapolis or St. Paul.

Police report he has a history of mental health problems and is known to abuse alcohol.

Annamitta is described at a Native American man, 5’9” tall and 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes and glasses.

If you have any information of his whereabouts, you are asked to call the Fond du Lac Tribal Police Department at 218-591-2316
