The Minneapolis Community Development Committee will vote Tuesday on whether to approve city financing for the Downtown East Development Project.
The project would transform the Minneapolis landscape next to the new Vikings stadium.
Under the plan, the city would be responsible for $18 million for a two-block park and $33 million for a new parking ramp across the street.
Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak says the bonds will be paid off using revenue from the parking ramp.
If passed, the full city council will vote on the project Friday.
