With the disappointing loss against Wisconsin, it gives the football team even more motivation to beat Michigan State on Saturday. Coach Jerry Kill said the team played very well, but there were too many turnovers that allowed Wisconsin to take advantage. Kill said Michigan State's offense and defense is much like Wisconsin.

The players say that they are working harder than ever for this Big Ten game so they can get into a better bowl game. Even with a bowl game coming up in late December or New Year's Day, the players say they are concentrating only on this next game so the team can have nine wins, and finish 5-3 in conference play.
