Work Temporally Stops Where Worker Fell in Southeastern Minn.

Work has temporarily stopped where a construction worker fell from Interstate 90 along the Mississippi River.

The incident happened Wednesday morning in Dresbach in southeastern Minnesota. Crews are staying clear of the coffer dam at 'Pier 2' where the accident happened.

Work on the rest of the project will continue.

The 19-year-old worker has life-threatening injuries after falling 45 feet into the coffer dam, which is a large metal structure built to support a construction project.

OSHA is investigating.
