The Golden Arches have returned to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

A McDonald's has opened in Terminal 1's Concourse D. The fast-food chain left MSP nearly two years ago after the company's contract with Delta Air Lines expired in Concourse G.

McDonald's has been one of the most frequent restaurant requests since then, according to Metropolitan Airports Commission Executive Director Jeff Hamiel.

The new restaurant will be open 24 hours a day and is near the entrance to Concourse D. It's expected to employ about 60 people.

Travelers can find Grand Opening specials in the November/December "MSP Eat, Shop Relax" coupon book.
