Thousands of people dressed up in their Halloween costumes and went for a run Saturday morning.
It was for the 10th annual Monster Dash Half Marathon in St. Paul. Organizers say more than 9,000 people participated in the race that ran from the Cathedral of Saint Paul, traveled down Summit and then headed down Mississippi River Boulevard before finishing on Shepard Road.
Runners didn't just go for the scary look, a lot of them went as superheroes. KSTP spotted Batman, Captain America, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Green Lantern.
