There's a new campaign aimed at teen drivers.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration calls it '5 to Drive.'

It asks parents to talk about five critical driving practices with their teens to keep them safe behind the wheel.

The topics include:

  • Don't use a cellphone while driving
  • No extra passengers
  • Don't speed
  • Always wear your seatbelt
  • No alcohol

The agency says car crashes are the leading cause of death for teens 14 to 18-years-old in the United States.
