The man who found the depth of his dark side while putting Albuquerque on some new maps received a real funeral Saturday for the death that ended his TV life.

ABC News reports "Breaking Bad's" Walter White received his last sendoff as hundreds of fans of the AMC network's hit series gathered at Sunset Memorial Park for the afternoon ceremony.

If you happened to be in the neighborhood and didn't know any better, you would have thought it was the real deal.

People came from as far as Canada and Boston to say goodbye to White, the cancer-stricken chemistry teacher who over five seasons descended into darkness and disaster after he turned to cooking meth to leave wealth for his family.

The hearse, the sheriffs deputies, women in black veils, you name it, they had it. There was even a headstone with his picture.

It's estimated 200 to 300 people attended.

Organizers say they mean no disrespect to those with real loved ones buried there, as all proceeds were destined for Albuquerque's Healthcare for the Homeless and the Albuquerque Community Foundation.

Still, not everyone is happy about it. Adrian and Jessica Abeyta said it's like a slap in the face as they remembered their little girl.

The Abeyta's were not the only ones upset about the event. One man has started a petition to have the headstone removed.
