KSTP's Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl is predicting 75 inches of snow this winter.

That's about 8 more inches of snow than last winter when there was a total of 67 inches.

He says his forecast is based on a 30 year cycle we go through. We had some heavy snow back in the 1980's and now we can expect some heavier snow again.

Dave says it looks like it will be a snowy, cold winter.
