Spring Lake Park High School is celebrating homecoming Monday, Oct. 14, through Friday, Oct. 18, with spirit events planned around the theme, “Send Them Back to Their Nest.”
Most of the events during the week-long celebration are for current students, but according to the event page, families and community members can participate in the activities, including Friday’s tailgate event, parade and football game.
The homecoming coronation ceremony is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, in the Fine Arts Center. The fee is $5 to attend.
Friday’s festivities start with a 1:55 p.m. pep fest at the Panther performance gym. A tailgating fundraiser for student clubs and groups starts runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. outside the school’s main entrance rotunda.
The homecoming parade starts at 5:30 p.m. and will run along the front driveway of the school's main entrance and in front of the tailgate party.
Kickoff at Panther Stadium for the football game against St. Louis Park is set for 7 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.
