INTERVIEW: Link Between Migraines and Obesity

A new study finds people who get occasional migraine headaches are more likely to be obese than people who don't, according to the Journal of Neurology.

Researchers say they found body mass index numbers were over the normal range for many people who get migraines. Nearly 4,000 people were studied. About 1,100 were obese and women were more at-risk.

Susan Evans, a neurologist with the Noran Neurological Clinic in Minneapolis, stopped by our KSTP-TV studio to discuss the study. Watch her interview in the video player above.
