The Minnesota Wild will have a new look while on the road this season.
The club is set to unveil fresh white sweaters at the Minnesota State Fair on Sept. 1. But for those who cannot wait until then, they can see snippets at Wild.com and the team’s official Twitter account starting next week.
Meanwhile back in April, the Wild’s AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, unveiled a new white sweater (pictured at the right). There is no indication if the new white sweater for the Minnesota Wild will look the same.
The unveiling event at the State Fair will feature newly acquired Wild forward Nino Niederreiter, forward Stephane Veilleux and Nordy, the mascot.
Fans can also register for a chance to win a new white sweater at the booth each day of the fair. They will go on sale exclusively at all Hockey Lodge locations starting Tuesday, Sept. 3 through Saturday Sept. 7.
The new road whites for the Wild will be unveiled Sunday, Sep. 1 at 11:30 a.m., at Wild’s fair booth in the FAN Central building. It's at the intersection of Dan Patch Avenue and Underwood Street.
