Weekend Wrap: Festivals, North Coast Nosh
There's always plenty of events going on in the Twin Cities and this weekend is no different.
KSTP had Bradley Traynor, of MyTalk 107.1, in to give the rundown on what’s happening this weekend:
The Renaissance Fair is open every weekend through Sept. 29 at the Shakopee Fair Grounds. This weekend's theme is Italian flare featuring bocce ball, a horse show and a spaghetti eating contest.
Another festival going on this weekend, is the You Betcha! Minnesota-Made Festival. It will take place on Saturday, Aug. 17 from 12:30-11:30 p.m. at the Shops at West End festival grounds at the southwest corner of Hwy 100 and I-394. They will have live music, food trucks and a classic car show.
But if food is what you're looking for, then the ninth annual North Coast Nosh might be the perfect thing. From 6-9 p.m. on Saturday at the Soap Factory, 514 2nd St SE, local food and drink will be served. From brewers, to cheesemakers and coffee roasters, there will be something delicious for everyone.
