Roseville emergency workers are reminding homeowners to keep their address numbers visible.

According to city officials, emergency personnel use city maps to find general locations when responding to calls, but they look for address numbers to find the specific house.

Many homes in Roseville have the house number hidden by trees or other objects, which is delaying firefighters, police, and ambulances from getting there quickly, according to the city.

City officials say Roseville address numbers must be at least four inches high and on the house itself, not just on a mailbox.
