EXTENDED INTERVIEW: Professor Talks Unrest in Egypt

The University of Minnesota says four graduate students were in Egypt for a group internship project aimed at helping Egyptian students.

The students' professor says the four were safe but felt the mass demonstration would not allow them to complete the interviews and focus groups they needed to finish their project.

The students are several of approximately 3,000 Minnesotans of Egyptian heritage.

This is the third year UM students have worked on projects in Egypt.
