The wolf population at Isle Royal National Park in Michigan is dwindling.

To help, the National Parks Conservation Association is holding an event about the wolves Thursday at the Cowles Auditorium at the Humphrey Center, 301 19th Ave. S. in Minneapolis.

The park plans to make a decision about how to respond to the population decrease. As part of the decision, the park will be asking for public input.

The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 20.
