Twins Join 'Home Run Challenge' for Prostate Cancer Foundation
The Twins are under extra pressure this week to pick up as many home runs and strikeouts as possible.
The team is donating money to the Prostate Cancer Foundation for the Home Run Challenge, which runs through June 16.
Every home run hit by a Twins player is worth $10,000, and every strikeout recorded by a Twins pitcher is worth $1,000.
Since it began in 1997, the Home Run Challenge has raised more than $40 million for cancer research.
