A Twin Cities mom is still searching for answers nearly four years after her son was shot and killed in a South Minneapolis apartment.

Paul Fisher was 27 years old and was just getting his life going with a new business.

The case has been hard for investigators to solve because there were no witnesses and no security cameras at the complex.

Andrea Hintz will never forget the early morning hours of July 25, 2009.

She was at home at an apartment building at 53rd and Chicago in South Minneapolis, waiting for her fiancé, Fisher, to come home.

It was 2 a.m. and Fisher was coming home. As he was approaching the door, someone came up to him and shot him one time. He tried to get away by going inside, but his attacker followed him and shot him again.

Hintz went into the hallway and found Fisher on the ground. He died while an ambulance was on the way.

Hintz and Fisher's mother, Patti Swedberg, know they can't have him back, but closure in this case would mean so much to them.

There is a $10,000 reward leading to a conviction in this case. Anyone with information can submit an anonymous report to Crime Stopper by calling 1-800-222-TIPS.
