The country of China looms large in Minnesota.

It is a major trading partner. Tourism is booming and hundreds of Chinese students come here for an education.

China is certain to play a major role in our future, but how much do we really know about it?

Jason Davis went “On the Road” to China to learn more about the China-Minnesota connection.

Davis visited an elementary school in Hopkins, Minn., where the kids speak nothing but Chinese and their sister school in Beijing where in English is the major focus.

Also, we got an up-close look at the famous Terra Cotta warriors that created a sensation last winter when some examples were on display at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.

Davis also visited Minnesotans who live and work in China to find out what life is like in the vast country.
