U of M Loses $16K in TCF Beer Sales
The first year that you could buy alcohol at TCF Bank Stadium was not a profitable one for the University of Minnesota.
The school lost $16,000 last year, despite selling more than $900,000 in beer and wine. The loss is reportedly due to a bad deal with its contractor, Aramark. The university is now re-negotiating the contract.
If alcohol sales are similar next season, the Gophers estimate a $110,000 profit.
