Study: More Women Get Mammograms at Younger Age
More women are getting mammograms at a younger age, despite a change four years ago that pushed back the age to start early screenings.
A new study in the journal Cancer looked at 28,000 women. Researchers found mammography rates rose slightly in women 40-49 between 2008 and 2011.
This is after the controversial decision to delay screenings in 2009.
