St. Cloud Police Investigate North Side Shooting
St. Cloud police are investigating after one person was shot in the city's north side Friday morning.
No arrests have been made, however several people have been detained for questioning, according to police.
A call came in just before 11 a.m. Friday after one person was shot, according to Assistant Chief Sue Stawarski. The injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
"We are asking people to stay away from the area around the 400 block of 17th Avenue North," said Stawarski.
St. Cloud Technical High School, South Junior High School and the district's City Life program were put in confinement mode briefly, according to school officials.
That means classes went on as usual, but hallway traffic was limited.
No further details were immediately available.
